Last updated: 4 October 2026
Who we are
Shithead: Pub Card Game is an iOS game from 1217 Games, a division of THE 1217 COMPANY LTD, registered in England and Wales (company number 17448542). This policy explains how information is handled in connection with the game and enquiries about it.
Game information
The information handled depends on the features you use and the version of the game installed. Game settings, saved progress and preferences may be stored on your device to support gameplay. Device-held information can be removed through the app’s available controls or by deleting the app; any separate device backups are managed through your Apple settings.
Contacting us
If you contact us, we receive the information you choose to send, such as your name, email address and message. We use this information to respond, provide support and resolve your enquiry. Please avoid sending sensitive personal information that is unnecessary for your request.
Apple services and purchases
Apple handles App Store downloads and, where available, payments and purchases under its own privacy policy. We do not receive your full payment-card details from Apple. You can manage Apple account information, permissions and purchase settings through your device and Apple account.
Advertising and diagnostics
If your version of the game includes advertising or third-party diagnostics, those services may process device information, advertising identifiers, interaction information or crash reports to provide their services. Any tracking requiring permission will be subject to the applicable iOS permission prompt. You can manage tracking permissions in iOS Settings under Privacy & Security. Features that are not present in your version do not apply to your use of the game.
Use, sharing and retention
We use information provided to us to deliver support, maintain the game and meet legal obligations. Where personal information is processed by us, the relevant basis is providing a requested service, our legitimate interests in responding to enquiries and maintaining the game, a legal obligation, or your consent where required.
We do not sell personal information you send to us. We share it only where necessary with service providers supporting these purposes, where required by law, or where you have authorised sharing. We retain enquiry information only for as long as needed to address the enquiry and meet applicable legal or record-keeping requirements. We take reasonable steps to protect information we hold.
Your choices and rights
Depending on applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct or delete personal information we hold about you, restrict or object to its use, request a portable copy, and withdraw consent where processing relies on consent. To make a request, email gary@the1217company.co.uk. You can also raise a concern with the UK Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
Children’s privacy
We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, contact us so we can investigate and take appropriate action. Please follow the game’s App Store age rating and parental controls.
Changes and contact
We may update this policy when the game or our practices change. The latest version and its update date will be published on this page.
